Send a message to this menteeOver the past few years, I have significantly changed my habits and lifestyle. I overcame depression and anxiety by quitting smoking, stopping drinking, and building a relationship with Jesus. I replaced bad habits with gym sessions, books, and road biking. These extreme changes have been remarkable for my mental health, confidence, and well-being but have also created distance from my family and old friends.
Finding a new network of like-minded individuals has been challenging as a single mother. Since transforming my life, I have been forced also to start a new career. The lack of support to help me with my daughter has directed me to get creative in pursuing entrepreneurship. I am also looking for an entry-level remote position in sales. Recently opened an Etsy store and plan to build a brand in E-commerce.
I have experience in retail customer service and hospitality in Miami Beach and working as a digital marketer (remotely). My passions include self-development, health and fitness, and real estate. I have been educating myself through online courses and YouTube videos, but I need direction on finding the right connections.
The only time I get to myself is while my daughter is at school. This has limited many obvious opportunities for me, but perhaps there may be a mentor who has already navigated what I am currently facing and can help me.
I view every obstacle as an opportunity to grow. So, I see this current setback as a redirection for a more fulfilling dream. With a growth mindset, I know everything is possible. But I could highly benefit from some real guidance. I am searching for a mentor who can help me find the right network and strategies to succeed.
What I Expect From A Mentor:
Help me break down a plan to succeed in creating a brand and starting a business. I also need help finding the right group of people for whom I can provide value, understand my current value, and build more value. Direct me toward finding individuals who can teach, humble, and offer me the right opportunities.
