Send a message to this menteeMy name is Mitch. I am 33 years old. I am from Oklahoma City but have also lived in South Africa and NE Ohio. Today I run a cannabis marketing/sales/digital marketing agency out of Oklahoma City.
My background is pretty diverse.
When I was 18 I got my life and health insurance license.
19 - real estate license.
21 - moved to NE Ohio and worked as a project manager for a high-end ultra-energy-efficient custom home builder.
Then when I was 25 I got my mortgage loan origination licenses and was a top producer for the company I was working with at the time.
Then in 2013 I was involved in a severe auto accident which took me out of that industry and onto a new path. I discovered ayahuasca, which helped me with many of the problems that came about from the accident.
I have come a long way since then and consider myself to have made a full recovery. I didn't drive for 5 years after that event, and survived thanks to a web design/digital marketing/SEO agency that I started out of pure necessity.
Today I find myself in a situation where I have very real ideas that I see having a large impact on the cannabis and live events industries - but I have realized that if I am going to make anything happen, I need somebody around who has had some success and who can give a fresh perspective on things - maybe to help keep me accountable to a plan.
I know I have more potential than where I find myself today and I am ready to commit myself to take the next step in my life. I am looking to find someone who has had success and who is not attached to my situation to help me realize my full potential on this planet. In exchange, I will be honest (as long as you want and are prepared for that) and I will dedicate the time and energy (within reasonable means) to commit - so long as it is the right fit.
Experience in cryptocurrency/finance, cannabis, and app/software development would be a huge plus but not absolutely necessary I suppose. I am open to whatever amazing things the universe has in store for me to make the most out of this life - and I believe I will know if/when the situation is a good fit.
There are people who I follow as my mentors but who I have never met... I have never had a real one, so this is kind of a big deal. I'm pretty excited that I have finally come around.
I am a sponge when it comes to learning and I find interest in almost everything. It's a good thing but it can also be a curse when it comes time to focusing only on the 'things that matter'.
What I Expect From A Mentor:
After 6 years of self-employment, I know that I could really use someone to help keep me accountable.
If that means talking 1x per week and communicating in a different way than that more often, I am into it. I don't want to be micromanaged but I am looking for somewhat of a guiding voice of wisdom to help get me back on the right track. I know I need it and that I have developed some less than ideal habits, so whatever that entails.
