My name is Luis I'm currently a tile contractor looking to improve his business. I've been in the business literally since I was a kid. I was about 9 years old when I started working with my dad. he taught me how to use the tools and the techniques needed for the job. The only thing my father didn't teach me is how to expand the business only how to maintain it. We relayed heavily on recommendations and word of mouth from clients and contractors we worked for but it can only take you so far even that dries up eventually. my company has been licensed for about 5 years now but i want to learn how to look for more work and how to apply for projects for the city or commercial. the terminology they use doesnt make sense to me and if im going to do the work i need to learn how. My Goal is to be able to achieve stability and not have to be paycheck to paycheck as we have been since covid. My dream is to be able to retire my mom and dad and give them the life they deserve as a thank you for all they have done and sacrificed for myself and my siblings

What I Expect From A Mentor:

I expect to commitment from my mentor, and I will reciprocate the same commitment and help in any way I can. i am very open minded and open to change. i want to learn how to run a business on my own with confidence
