Trinity

Business & Entrepreneurship Mentee

Hi, my name is Trinity Todd. I came here looking for someone who can advise me in any way. All my life I've been told I couldn't do it, that I couldn't be something. My end goal is to change the social injustices towards African-American youth in America. I feel that my voice and my message would have pull in such a mislead and beaten down audience. The reason I'm here is because I simply don't know where to start. I want to gain a platform and just make my family proud. My mother and I have suffered through a lot from domestic violence to discrimination. My grandmother is on her last leg and I want to make her proud before it's too late. I'm looking into the field of law. I feel a job as a social change lawyer of some sort would get me where I need to go. I've attempted a business plan maybe a fashion line with a message or something on social media but there is just so much I don't know and being unexperienced while trying to make money isn't going to get me anywhere. Any help, advice, or mentorship would be greatly appreciated.

What I Expect From A Mentor:

Truly I would like a mentor that isn't afraid to take risks. Someone who knows what they are doing and somewhat have the same views as me to the advanced of colored people. A mentor who doesn't stray from the end goal and is a very self-less person. I'd appreciate maybe a call or text once/twice a week but I am extremely flexible. I expect a mentor who is caring and dedicated to this cause. A mentor who is willing to help someone like me who has never had much.
