I work for a hospital as a Unit Secretary, and plan on enrolling in college for Human Resources soon, I also recently joined our ACE Committee which to establish and upgrade policies for non union workers along with co-workers and Human Resources. My objectives, equipp myself with the tools needed to be successful. I believe that knowledge is power and no matter how much you think you know there is always more to learn. I also believe that you get out of life what you put into it. Nothing is handed to you or owed to you. Hard work dedication, and determination is somthing that i firmly believe in and apply daily to my life. I am the type that takes the road less traveled so that I can challenge myself to do better and be better. I am not a quitter, when I am challenged that's when I do my best work. I never thought that at my age I would be able to go back school and not only earn my bachelor's but get my masters as well. At times it was a difficult but I was able to succeed, I push myself to limits that I didn't know I had and the end results was success. Now that I have completed that chapter of my life I only want to keep moving forward, the possibilities are endless and I'm ready to start the next chapter of my life and accomplish alot more while I'm here on this earth.

What I Expect From A Mentor:
My hopes in obtaining a mentor is that they can help me to gain personal and professional growth, knowledge that I cannot get through a book, I'm looking for someone who can encourage me to keep going and help me make a plan to get to the goals that I have set for myself.
I would like to be able to connect with mentor 1 to 2 times a week.
