Life & Personal Development Mentee

Hi. I am the true meaning of starting from the bottom. I am in adulthood with no clear path. I want to do everything at once but when I do, I get overwhelmed and eventually quit my goals. It's 2024 and I am getting older. My excuses are running thin and I could use some help reshaping my life. I never had anyone in my corner telling me that I could do such things. I know it's in me, but I struggle to find what works for me.

I ask my friends for help but I can differentiate if their teachings are from a place of love or if they are making fun of me. I don't need a yes man in my corner. I need a truthful person to help me bring out the higher version of myself. I can see her but I fear that with my background, I won't ever get to be her.

What I Expect From A Mentor:

I'm looking for someone who isn't afraid to be brutally honest with me. Even if it hurts. Truth will inevitably hurt me but I am ready. I have to be if I am seeking change. I like homework! Put me to work because I still have that people-pleasing mentality. And, recommend books for me to read. I'm also open to whatever you may have in mind to help me. I am an open book.
