Business & Entrepreneurship Mentee

I have over 25 years of experience in the software development industry, primarily as a working manager. I have special expertise in Internet development, having served as a member of the W3C working groups that created HTML4, CSS3, and DOM1. I've personally designed and led the development of several enterprise software systems from concept to market. Some fields in which I have significant experience are internationalization, linguistics, mobile app development, and warehouse management. I love working with people of all ages and circumstances.

At this point in my life I am tired of the corporate world and want to develop my skills as an entrepreneur. I have a small home business and a number of personal websites that I'd like to expand into a real enterprise. I'm trying to learn more about business financing and marketing. My greatest desire is to help others, especially parents, who are talented but struggling to support their families. I would love to find a mentor who can help me grow my business to the point where I can provide substantial value to my customers and satisfying work to my employees.

What I Expect From A Mentor:

I expect a mentor to maintain contact at least weekly, help me set goals and hold me to my commitments. I hope to find a mentor who truly cares about me, wants me to succeed, and is willing to help me break through barriers and make hard decisions. Ideally I would like to establish a long-term, mutually beneficial relationship where we can help one another achieve our shared and individual goals.
