I believe young people today, more than ever, need real life-advice, so they may grow, mature, and learn about life in the real world, without having to make all the mistakes that we made growing up.
My parents tried to teach me to listen to the wisdom and advice of older people, so that I didn’t have to make all the same mistakes. At many points in my life, I wish that I had understood and listened, and I could have avoided “The School of Hard Knocks”.
I believe that over 70 years of life-experience could benefit a young person.

What I Expect From A Mentee:

Someone who is willing to listen and learn from another person, about the trials and tribulations of life. I have done much in my life, but there were many things that I did not do, and I now regret.
I would expect that a mentee would have an open mind, and a willingness to learn.
